Appetizers and Snacks -- Day 4

This one is amazingly yummy and simple.  I wish I could take credit for creating it but it has been floating around my friends and family for so long I have no idea where it started or else I would definitely give credit where credit is due.

Pesto Cream Cheese Dip

Spread 8 oz cream cheese in a 8" or 9" round oven safe pan.  A pie plate will work but a pretty pewter platter is great for presentation.  Pop open a jar of pesto sauce and spread over the cream cheese.  Take a pint of grape tomatoes and slice each in half.  Arrange the tomato halves in a circular pattern, starting in the middle and working you way out.  Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes.  Serve with Triscuit crackers. 

I'm not kidding when I say this is delicious and will be a huge hit!
