So I consider this a travel tip because for me traveling and reading go hand and hand. A co-worker has turned me on to a fabulously funny author named Jen Lancaster. She is laugh out loud funny. Seriously a great, easy read. Perfect for your vacation!
So far I have read 2.5 of her books: I've read Bitter is the New Black, Bright Lights, Big Ass and I'm currently laughing my way through Such a Pretty Fat. She has 3 more books out -- Pretty in Plaid and My Fair Lazy are both memoirs like the first three but her newest book If You Were Here is a novel. They are all on my to-read list on www.goodreads.com.
So if you are hitting the road or catching a plane or just need a poolside read, check them out. I think you'll laugh out loud too.
